As a clarification, though not included with this model, NC means normally closed. If a pressure switch is already closed before the ventor motor/inducer starts, odds are the unit will lock out! The second most common problem with this type of furnace is usually the pressure switch or a plugged chimney. Especially an unlined chimney! These types of units may produce moisture within the flue if not vented properly. The outlet temperatures are much lower, and unable to maintain a "Warm Chimney", Oil Burner guys/gals know what I'm talking about. The warmer it is, the more draft you have over the fire. The same principles apply to gas furnaces, although slightly more corrosive and known to bleed through chimneys on the second floor. I'm not saying this particular model would, but generally ALL of the 'newer' 80% furnaces. Also, contrary to belief, these ARE NOT to be directly vented outside at ground level.
